When you think of the term “hotspot”, you most likely think of holiday hotspots and other such positive things. However, when the term is used in conjunction with cheap car insurance it is time to be worried because it is usually on about where people have the most accidents and how much car insurance will go up as a result. The latter applies here because a study found that certain cities have far poorer motoring behaviour than others. Apparently, Swansea drivers really leave the respect at home.

According to the research, Swansea drivers are not courteous and do not obey the rules of the road as they should. For example, 50% ignore red lights and drive straight through them. More than 75% also failed to use their indicators. This is in stark contrast to the drivers in Southampton, who apparently do show courtesy and so have a better driving experience! Although it should be noted that these figures do not apply to everyone, you have to wonder how much your premiums will go up as a result!
